Events, overage and campaign limits

RedTrack Builder includes 2 million events a month, 1 user, unlimited campaigns, 5 ad accounts per platform, 5 custom domains and email support, and it syncs ad spend every 6 hours. Its API is read-only.

Voluum Profit allows up to 1,000,000 events across 20 active campaigns, with 6 months of data and $0.06 per 1,000 events over the limit. It also lists 3 custom domains and 1 dedicated domain, a 1-hour onboarding call and 14 days of chat support. Voluum describes itself as affiliate tracking software to manage, optimize and automate campaigns.

Trials and canceling

RedTrack offers a 14-day free trial of its paid plans with every add-on unlocked, and says you can cancel anytime. Voluum's pricing page shows no trial; its page code mentions a 14-day platform preview that the visible page does not show. Voluum says you can unsubscribe anytime, and the plan runs to the end of the billing cycle.

Where ClickMagick fits as a third option

ClickMagick Starter is $79 a month on monthly billing, or $790 a year on yearly billing, with 10,000 tracked visitors, a monthly limit per its help center and a different unit from the events RedTrack and Voluum count. By default ClickMagick counts only visitors arriving on UTM-powered URLs (landing-page URLs with UTM parameters added), so it suits advertisers who send traffic to their own pages. Its fair-use policy says it is not meant for pop-up or popunder traffic.

  • RedTrack Builder if the lower price on either basis matters most and you want 2 million events, unlimited campaigns and a read-only API on the entry plan.
  • Voluum Profit if you want 20 active campaigns with 6 months of data retention, an onboarding call and chat support, and accept $0.06 per 1,000 events over the limit.
  • ClickMagick Starter if your count is visitors to your own pages, not events; see ClickMagick vs RedTrack and ClickMagick vs Voluum.

ClickMagick and RedTrack each list a 14-day free trial.
